“The mood boards and event design for PHX Rising were inspired by the vibrant energy and dynamic culture of Phoenix. The client's theme was centered around this dynamic spirit, and the process involved incorporating bold colors, modern elements, and local art to create an immersive experience. Working with bold colors was a challenge, but everything came together beautifully with the red, blue, and orange lighting, the bold Birds of Paradise florals, and the aerialist performances. Seeing the vision come to life was incredibly rewarding, as it captured the essence of the city's spirit and brought a unique flair to the event.”

“The Fiesta del Sol theme was inspired by the lively and festive atmosphere of traditional Mexican celebrations. The design process focused on integrating bright hues of blues, oranges, and greens were used throughout, with Mexican-inspired floral arrangements in stone mortars featuring small cacti and bright florals in terracotta vessels to enhance the festive theme. Mexicana decorative flags hung from the ceiling, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the great hall. The venue, Corona Ranch and Rodeo Grounds, with its authentic Mexican and Western rodeo setting, greatly enhanced the theme, providing a perfect backdrop for the celebration. Witnessing the final setup was a joyous moment, as it beautifully reflected the warmth and vibrancy of the culture, making the event truly memorable.”

“The design for Open Road Adventure was inspired by Arizona’s storied highway culture and the timeless allure of classic cars, tying the theme to the spirit of freedom and exploration. Guests arrived to a vibrant red-carpet entrance that set the tone with a sense of old-Hollywood glamour and desert charm. A gleaming vintage car served as the showpiece inside the venue making this a timeless photo op and an immersive storytelling moment where guests could step inside and be transported back in time. The design pulled in rich reds and bold blacks, complemented by sleek clear highboys and gunmetal chairs to bring a modern edge to the retro theme. The final look was a striking balance of nostalgia and style, perfectly capturing the adventure and elegance of the open road.”

“Inspired by the high-energy atmosphere of the WM Phoenix Open, particularly the iconic Par-3 at the Stadium Course, this event reimagined golf through a vibrant, neon lens. The creative process focused on blending golf tradition with bold, electric elements and incorporating LED swings, neon living golf rough beverage cart attendants, and themed sway pole greeters with golf clubs to create immersive photo ops. Venue tables alternated linens in bright green, gold, and white nods to Masters colors while LED highboys, neon dried florals, and glowing golf balls added layers playing into the electric side of this theme. Putting this theme together brought so much joy, as it allowed me to celebrate something rooted in the local Phoenix community and truly a hole-in-one event!”

“Thinking about Arizona, one of the iconic images are the vistas and skies, particularly when the sun starts to set and the green and taupe desert seems to be painted in hues of lavender and plums. Desert at Dusk was a visual capture of that moment by using an intentional color palette and blending textures of wooden and metallic finishes. It was important to represent it in a modern and elegant way with the use of clean line furniture, modern vessels, and contemporary images & decals - breathing new life into a classic theme. Redefining a new view of a 2025 Arizona. The Sonoran Hot Dog station concept was based on a trip to visit my in-laws. I had never heard of it before, and they had taken me on an eating tour of every place that offered a Sonoran Hot Dog. I've never had so much bacon in one week's time! If you haven't had one, definitely add it to your bucket list.”

“What is something you would never expect in a desert? How about a lush and flourishing garden! I started to research oasis, mirages, the Hanging Garden of Babylon, which led me to riads - which is the central courtyard or garden in a traditional Moroccan house. Thinking of the placement of lawn in the Biltmore, I wanted to create this Moroccan Garden Oasis experience for the guests. After they traverse through the hotel, they find themselves in their own private garden complete with ornate structures covered with dramatic colorful floral installations, metallic golden 'trees' with hanging flowers, dramatic lighting, elegant linens and tabletop décor, and even living statues. Creating an elegant and refined dinner al-Fresco underneath the Arizona night skies.”
