What attracted you to the event management world?

I honestly fell into it! I started off at college as a nursing major. I went to my first bio class, HATED it. Then went to my admin’s office asking what was available and there was “Intro to Event Management”. I signed up and then never looked back!

How did you first become interested in this industry?

I became interested in my first college class. I fell in love after planning my first wedding.

What is your favorite part about your job?

Seeing the vision I built with a client come to life and seeing the reaction on their face!

What is the best part about the destination you work in?

South Florida is growing in the best way! There are so many things to do for families, couples, singles, social classes, everyone can find something to fit their needs!

What is one of your most proud accomplishments at CSI (or other company) so far?

I believe my proudest accomplishment was conquering my first event. I truly felt like this industry is where I belong!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully out of Florida. I’d really like to move to another state (or country, Australia would be AWESOME). I’d like to be head of creative or event design for a major company.

How do you like to spend your weekends?

I live a very active lifestyle and like to be outside. You can catch me at the beach, on the boat or trying new workout trends!

Are there any causes you are passionate about? Any ways you give back to the community?

I do volunteer work with the Make A Wish foundation and have been heavily involved with them since 2011.
