Naturally, we were looking forward to the announcement of Pantone's 2024 Color of the Year and eagerly speculated on what it would be. Would it be a forest green symbolizing sustainability? Or perhaps a bold yellow, signaling a future full of promise? It's this anticipation and excitement that we bring to every project we work on, and it drives us to deliver forward-thinking, artfully crafted experiences.
This year's color, Peach Fuzz, embodies our goal to create events that inspire connection and leave a lasting impression of warmth on all who attend. Our Director of Creative Services, Jamie Armistead, shares, “Peach Fuzz is a refreshing departure from the bold and dramatic hues of previous years, offering a more subtle and nuanced tone.” She believes that the color's in-style beige undertones reflect an optimistic outlook for the year ahead, making it the perfect color to kick off a new season of togetherness.
Of course, we know that color can be used to tell a story. From floral arrangements to ambient lighting and everything in between, our creative team is already thinking about ways to bring this beautiful color to life. Each design transports guests to a different feeling and experience, from basking in the sun at the beach to the warmth of a candlelit dinner table.
Peachy Keen Quirks
Creative Services Manager, Chantel Mysliwiec, shares, “The allure of Pantone's 2024 Color Peach Fuzz captures my attention in two contrasting yet captivating ways. On one hand, it exudes delicacy, warmth, and sun-kissed relaxation; on the other, it offers a bold and unique quirkiness, standing out as a color not commonly encountered.” Chantel, the creative mind behind “Peachy Keen Quirks”, drew inspiration from the iconic style of Wes Anderson. She weaved together a quirky and colorful design, harmonizing rhythmic and dreamlike elements. The results are a satisfying and eclectic visual experience that compels us to pause and appreciate its unique beauty.
Just Peachy Beachy
Additionally, Chantel Mysliwiec also designed an event meant to transport guests to that feeling of basking in the warm sun while watching the glow of a peachy sunset during summer. The design was influenced by the play of sunlight on textures and objects at the beach, casting a light peachy hue that envelops everything in a serene and chill atmosphere. Chantel shares, “Capturing the essence of a delicate and peaceful beach day, it invites us to revel in the soothing and luminous ambiance, reminiscent of a perfect summer evening where life is just peachy and beachy!” Overall, Chantel's concepts are a testament to her creativity and ability to craft events that transport guests through design.
Peach Fizz
Courtney King's creative interpretation took peach fuzz to peach fizz and gave it an entirely new meaning with just one letter change. She curated an artful experience that feels like a delightful sip of champagne while enjoying a scrumptious slice of peach pie. Courtney’s vision is a bright, playful palette and bouncy textures that set the tone for an event full of personality. Imagine overflowing champagne towers, carts filled with extravagant cakes and candies, and bubbly balloon installations. Courtney explains, “The fruit itself inspired this looks color scheme that embraces the pink, yellow, and orange tones of summer.” With her expert eye for detail and her finger always on the pulse of the latest trends, she transforms any event into a fresh and modern experience.
Evening Embers
Courtney shares, “To me, the color peach is associated with bright, daytime, summery events, and I wanted to challenge myself to take the color into a moodier arena.” Her vision for “Evening Embers” is to capture the cozy atmosphere of a candlelit dinner, where the soft glow of the flames washes the room in a warm peach hue. To create a sense of intimacy, Courtney pairs the lightness of the peach with rich wood tones and adds reflective gold accents for an elevated sense of luxury. With the ability to push beyond the limits of what’s expected, Courtney has crafted a concept that is refreshingly different.
